TP.com Employees Involved in Suspected Cover Up

NOTICE TO USERS

Use of this system constitutes consent to security monitoring and testing. All activity is logged with your host name and IP address.

Many entries on this topic exist! If you are interested in reading more, send me a LJ friend request. Due to attempted Denial of Service attacks from IP Address 208.57.154.214, I have had to make the entries being attacked friends only. I am looking into remedies for these attacks. Please don't give up the fight for truth!

The TP.com web employees have begun to delete all blogs and references to Sixxx and website problems that they had posted. Are they trying to cover their own butts? It certainly seems like it.

I mentioned to Sixxx that comments were being left by TP.com employees on blogs that supported her, and that all the blogs had been viewed by either MP, TMF, or both. She responded, "LOL! Typical, they'd rather run around reading blogs than do their jobs. I hear log-in is still broken, MP still has 1700 fake pops and a stolen piece of art of Ivan Isaacs, and the site is still in shambles. But what's really funny is I haven't heard a word about this banishment and deletion from them myself."

I also told her that while reconstructing events, I noticed they had deleted many of their own blogs. Her comment was, "Again, LOL! Are you serious? Well, that type of action speaks for itself. I believe it's called 'getting rid of the evidence.' XD"

I did see a blog by TMF that the log-in script had been fixed, and I saw a comment by TMF that a permanent script is being written. I guess Sixxx's instructional blog on how to write scripts and cookies, and install mods did some good. Wonder why they wanted to delete that? They sure as heck had no idea what was wrong for 6 months. Sixxx kindly told them and didn't even ask for a fee for her services, and she gets banned and deleted and told she does nothing but complain.

What has been deleted so far? Of course everything Sixxx had in her account. Every blog entry MP ever posted. TMF's response to one of Sixxx's blogs about site problems. Don't worry. I found everything. I'll post it soon. I wanted to get an update up as soon as I found out about the TP.com web employees deleting things. (Don't be mad, Sixxx! I studied first! :)

I am personally sickened by TP. I asked to be Sixxx's journalist because she said she hates typing and doubted anything would be done to correct the wrongs that had been done to her or fix the site. I begged her to stand up for what is right and decent, and I am glad she did. I want to thank everyone who has stood up for Sixxx. If you are a friend to her, you are a friend to me and to everyone who believes in free speech and fair treatment.

One last thing tonight, before I hit the hay, Sixxx e-mailed the TP VP, Jim De Vico on the 30th because she had not heard anything from the webmaster since he broke into her account and posted comments and got caught on the 25th. Mr. De Vico has not responded to her either. I now have images of her sent e-mails to them. I will post those later.

Until next time.

Go support Sixxx on TP.com. Don't forget to blog your site problems, not to buy TP manga, and to join the TEAM SIXXX clan. Rain66 and Suicidollxp have made avatars that you can use, too.

Why Tokyopop Banned Sixxx

NOTICE TO USERS

Use of this system constitutes consent to security monitoring and testing. All activity is logged with your host name and IP address.

Many entries on this topic exist! If you are interested in reading more, send me a LJ friend request. Due to attempted Denial of Service attacks from IP Address 208.57.154.214, I have had to make the entries being attacked friends only. I am looking into remedies for these attacks. Please don't give up the fight for truth!

Sixxx Deserves Better, TP.com!

Today, one of my favorite artists and fans was banned from Tokyopop.com by the "webmaster" MP, with no warning or no reason. I joined there because she told me it was a great place for anime and manga fans. I found out anywhere she is is the great place, not TP.com. That site blows, to put it mildly.

I was left wondering where Sixxx was when I signed in and couldn't go to her profile. I e-mailed her, and this is what she said.

She signed into TP today for the first time since the 20th. She found she had received a comment from themischeviousfox, a supposed web community person on TP.com, and a private message from MP in response to a comment she had left him. All three of them were showing as on-line at the time. Sixxx said she answered some private messages from her friends, approved and replied to some comments, read a friend's fiction and popped and rated it, and then....

She was suddenly logged out when she tried to leave a comment. Assuming this was the typical log-in/log-out issues the site usually has, she cleared her cookies and her cache, and tried to log-in, only to discover her account had been banned. She immediately e-mailed the webmaster, but never received a response back from him, which as she put it "was typical, since she'd never received a reply from them in the year she had been on the site."

In support of my incredible friend, I asked if I might set up a LJ as an account of the events that have transpired with her TP.com account. She has agreed, and I will act as her journalist. I, for one, think that everyone should know what has been happening at TP.com, along with the dangers it poses to your children, yourself, and privacy and Freedom of Speech as we know and value it in the United States of America.

Sixxx was banned for speaking the truth
about a shoddy website run by shady, ignorant people.

For sometime, TP.com employees seem to have been targeting Sixxx's account. At first, Sixxx thought everyone was having the same problems with art, clans, and pops disappearing. She contacted the webmaster at TP.com by leaving feedback, and she waited. She got no response.

She continued this process for a few weeks, until the Leave Feedback button was removed. She finally posted a blog specifically about clans, asking if other's were experiencing the same problems. Only a few were, and of those few, all were clans she was a member of. The V-P of TP (Check him out here: http://www.tokyopop.co.uk/JimDeVico/blog/871937.html) saw her blog, asked via pm to join it, and after remaking her clan for the fourth time, it stopped disappearing. And so the saga began in earnest. She dared speak out publicly against the shoddy work being done by the web people at TP.com.

Sixxx began posting blogs periodically about the troubles with the TP.com website. I will recreate those blogs in a chronological fashion for you in later postings in this LJ account. Her account has been periodically frozen, hacked, and tampered with by the TP.com employees. She says she only suspects this, but I have been on TP.com messaging her when her account has been frozen before. I don't trust those people, and neither should she or you. They are low and without morals or ethics. I intended to reveal their true nature.

For now, let's cover what happened the past 2 weeks.

Sixxx posted a response blog to a personal attack on her by the webmaster (http://www.tokyopop.com/mp/blog/1200104.html), who was on her ignore list. She was given a heads up about his blog by one of her friends. She left a comment on that attack blog. MP and Sixxx conversed via pm, where he accepted her as a beta tester and asked that she pm with problems about the site instead of posting blogs. Sixxx was suspicious of this request as she felt it made it too easy to lie to his supervisors about the state of the site. MP also stated that themischeviousfox was "a sweet girl who worked very hard and not to tease her so much". Sixxx promised to do her best.

Then a two days later, after approving a comment for her blog, she noticed a comment on it from MP. A comment she never saw because it didn't require approval. A comment she should have never received because the day MP posted it, he was on ignore list. She left him a comment about this in the blog, and sent it to him as a profile comment, which was her usual habit if she replied to a comment so that the poster who might not check back would know that she had replied. What did the comment from MP say? It was an educated, verbose, and informative "Lol. Hysterical". Obviously, Matt Paladino just wanted to flex his webmaster might and leave a comment in the sneakiest way possible. Sixxx was very upset that the webmaster would take advantage of his powers to invade her account, and wasted no time in telling him so.

What she said was so true, I will just repost it:

"Matt, if I ever drop by my one of my entries that I have marked "Comments by members require the content creator's approval before they are displayed.", and see a comment by you that I never received an alert for, nor approved, "hysterical" won't even begin to describe the consequences. That is an ultra vires use of your webmaster powers that is unacceptable. Not kewl, dude, esp. since comments can't be moderated once they are posted AND you were on my ignore list at the time. Don't let it happen again."

Now consider if you had seen a comment from someone on your ignore list posted on a blog that requires comment approval???? Especially considering that TP.com is so far back in the Dark ages that you can't delete comments after they are posted.

The webmaster replied via a pm that said:

"I received your comment. That's not abuse. The admin at TP can post comments without approval that's why you didn't see it in your inbox."

Can you imagine???? Who hired this idiot? If he doesn't consider that abuse of powers, then he needs to be fired now because he would have no way of knowing right from wrong, and should not be trusted with addresses, e-mails, ages, and other information of users on TP.com.

Sixxx replied via pm:

"That's abusive, and it's not up for debate."

K?

*grumblesaboutthechildrenaroundhere*"

Sixxx, you are so right. Good ethics and morals are not up for debate, neither is account privacy and control. He asked you to talk to him about website problems (I'd say comments that don't need approval by people on your ignore list is a HUGE problem!), and then he slapped you in the face for it. I believe he abused and used you according to standards of decent conduct, and for that I apologize to you for his idiocy. I promise, most males are not so pig-headed and ignorant.

Immediately and without warning, MP had banned her, deleted her entire account (postings, blogs, avatars, and all), and would not reply to her e-mail. He then moved himself into the number six spot on the front page.

Why? Obviously, because Sixxx was correct. MP acts like a child, with a child's temperment and reasoning skills. He is the worst webmaster in the history of webmasters, as far as I can tell. What do I think should be done? MP and themischeviousfox should be fired for their abuse of powers, laziness, and terrible production. MP e-raped Sixxx and should be fired.

Next, the comment from themischeviousfox, who was on Sixxx's ignore list. Themischeviousfox wrote something along the lines of "We're doing internal tests for big obvious stuff for more than a week before the beta testers who will catch everything in between." This was TP's web community person's response to Sixxx's blog that said beta testing should be longer than a week, and to please remember to give fair warning of the site upgrade and to back up since they had lost so much stuff with the last "upgrade". How sad is that? Why does themischeviousfox have a job doing this? She obviously can't cope or comprehend.

Sixxx responded to themischeviousfox with the following:

"If it's internal testing, then it is not beta testing. I know the computer lingo may be difficult for you, so I will let it slide.

Beta testers are the low-end of the totem pole when testing the operational capabilities of software and/or code. They have nothing to do with development, nor do they work with the developers or coders. Beta testing can only occur after the software and/or code has been deployed or published. Meaning that if it hasn't been deployed or published, it CANNOT be beta tested. In fact, a release is how an internal test begins. Ya dig? So internal testing is not beta testing. Which means, a week is still too short for beta testing. Thanks.

Beta testers are end-users that the software and/or code is intended to be used by, and usually have some mid-level degree of understanding of computers so that they may provide useful feedback on bugs. You'd be the worst beta tester ever, no doubt. Why? Because you are not the intended end-user, nor do you possess even rudimentary computer knowledge.

"Big obvious things" would be defined as "defects" and "failures". Developers use peer reviews and internal tests to refactor, extend, and engage in a myriad of other revisionary processes that beta testers would be lost trying to do.

"Everything in between" would be defined as "bugs". Beta testers usually are very helpful in identifying those items when they happen, but only a developer can fix them.

BTW, you're on my ignore list, too. I'm sick of getting comments and pm's from people on my ignore list. I've been asked to go easy on you. Make it easy on yourself. Don't leave me idiotic comments that further demonstrate your lack of capabilities. I am confounded why you even bother. Maybe you should wise up and consult with one of the developers or programmers before typing your nonsense that is directly below this comment. @.@"

Well, Sixxx definitely had a point. themischeviousfox had no business stirring sh*t up, so to speak, and especially not about things she obviously knows nothing about, with someone who obviously has no use for her or her stupidity. For God's sake, the broad doesn't even know the difference between internal and beta testing.

MP and themischeviousfox have ruined TP.com, and by banning Sixxx today, they have shown they have no regard for fairness, privacy, or doing the right thing. They are a bunch of errant children who have let pornography flourish on a publisher's website that is seen in schools, libraries, and by children. They have invaded accounts, arbitrarily banned users, and squashed any voices of reason and input into what is wrong with the site. They published everyone's first and last name, location, and age for almost 2 months when they switched over to 2.0. I say switched because it sure as hell wasn't an upgrade. This includes many children under the age of 18. No parent should allow their child to have a Tokypop account under any circumstances. It is simply not safe, and the webmaster made it more unsafe by publishing identifying information about your children for months at a time.

Sixxx was our voice. She didn't settle for the wait for the next version excuse. She didn't let the constant intrusions into her account stop her from speaking out against the site problems. She fought valiantly. Let her efforts not be in vain. Please, blog, comment, post your support of her on TP.com.

Also, e-mail TP and let them know that we won't tolerate a lax webmaster, a web community person who doesn't understand computers, and a site that only half works. Don't buy TP manga. Down rate all of MP's and themischeviousfox's works, comment on their profiles... In short, TELL THEM WE KNOW HOW WRONG THEY ARE.

WE LOVE YOU SIXXX!!!!

Contact Information:
<br style="font-weight: bold;"
